Founded in 1996 by Moët & Hennessy, Terrazas de los Andes is located in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina. It specializes in high-altitude mountain wines, pioneering precision viticulture and sustainability across terraces planted between 980–1,250 m elevation  .

Vineyards & Micro Climate

This Mendoza Reserva Torrontés is sourced from high-altitude vineyards in Cafayate, Salta. Elevation (≈1,800 m) and intense diurnal variation promote vibrant acidity and aromatic freshness  .

Vinification & Aging Methods

Bright, fruity must is fermented in stainless steel with no oak aging, aiming to preserve aromatic purity and crispness. Lees contact may be light to preserve freshness.

Tasting Notes

Pale yellow with green highlights. Intense aromas of tropical fruits like passion fruit, mango, melon, tangerine, and litchi, accented by herbal spice, white peach, and white floral notes. The palate is lively and juicy, supported by bright acidity and a citrus-driven, fresh finish  .

Ideal with ceviche, shrimp tempura, sashimi, grilled seafood, light herb salads, goat cheese, and spicy Asian or Latin dishes. Its aromatic vivacity and freshness are perfect complements  .

Service Methods & Temperatures

Serve well-chilled at 8–10 °C in a medium-width white wine glass. Avoid over-chilling to maintain aromatic complexity.

Best enjoyed young. Peak drinking window is 2021–2023, though it remains vibrant through 2024 in optimal conditions (cool, dark, 12–14 °C storage)  .
