At OMY Cellar, we are committed to ensuring that your premium wines and spirits are handled with the utmost care and delivered efficiently. Please review our Shipping and Delivery Policy to understand our operational logistics, delivery zones, service charges, and legal verification protocols.
By completing a purchase on www.omycellar.com, you agree to the terms set forth below.
1. Territorial Delivery Zones

  • Domestic Delivery: OMY Cellar provides physical product delivery exclusively to valid addresses within the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).
  • International Shipping: We strictly do not offer international shipping or cross-border logistics outside of Hong Kong at this time.
  • PO Boxes & Restricted Zones: We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes, military barracks, or highly restricted government/customs zones that are inaccessible to standard commercial courier services.

2. Delivery Surcharges and Thresholds

  • Free Delivery Tier: We provide complimentary standard delivery for any single transaction with a net order value equal to or exceeding HKD $1,500.
  • Standard Handling Fee: For orders falling below the HKD $1,500 threshold, a fixed shipping and handling fee of HKD $250 will be applied at checkout.
  • Special Logistics Surcharges (Remote Areas & Walk-Ups): OMY Cellar reserves the right to assess additional delivery fees for specialized addresses. These include, but are not limited to, outlying islands, remote village houses, or buildings lacking functional elevator access (where courier personnel must carry items via stairwells). Any such fees will be communicated to you prior to dispatch.

3. Estimated Timeframes and Order Processing

  • Standard Timeframe: We endeavor to process, dispatch, and deliver all standard orders within 3 to 5 business days following formal order confirmation.
  • Operating Schedule: Order fulfillment operations take place from Monday through Friday. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or Hong Kong public holidays will be systematically processed on the subsequent business day.
  • Delivery Delays: Timeframes provided are non-binding estimates. OMY Cellar shall not be held legally liable for fulfillment delays arising from real-time stock variations, logistics capacity limits, or external courier network bottlenecks.

4. Standard Delivery Windows

  • Delivery Hours: Standard deliveries are executed between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. No standard deliveries are conducted on Sundays or public holidays.
  • Special Scheduling: While you may indicate preferred delivery windows or specific timing requests in the "Special Instructions" field at checkout, OMY Cellar cannot guarantee strict adherence by our third-party courier partners. We will, however, make every reasonable commercial effort to accommodate your scheduling requests.

5. Statutory Age Verification and Mandatory Signature

  • Legal Compliance (Under-18 Prohibition): In strict compliance with Hong Kong statutory regulations, intoxicating liquor will not be sold, supplied, or handed over to any individual under the age of 18.
  • Identity Verification: Upon arrival, our delivery personnel or courier partners reserve the absolute legal right to mandate the presentation of valid, government-issued photo identification (e.g., HKID card or Passport) to verify the recipient’s age.
  • Mandatory Signature: All deliveries require a physical signature upon receipt by an adult aged 18 or above. Under no circumstances will packages containing alcohol be left unattended at doorsteps, open reception desks, or with building management guards without an authorized adult signature. If age verification fails or an adult is unavailable to sign, delivery will be immediately withheld.

6. Non-Residential Addresses (Offices & Hotels)
For shipments directed to corporate offices, commercial centers, hotels, or non-residential properties, it is the Customer’s sole responsibility to ensure that an authorized adult is physically present at the specified address during delivery hours to accept, verify, and sign for the consignment.
7. Missed Deliveries and Redelivery Fees

  • Unsuccessful Delivery Attempts: If a delivery attempt fails due to an absent recipient, incorrect address data provided by the customer, or a failure to present valid age verification, the courier will return the goods to our central warehouse.
  • Redelivery Costs: In the event of a missed delivery caused by customer unavailability, OMY Cellar will contact you to reschedule. The customer will be legally liable for any secondary shipping, administrative, and handling fees incurred for the redelivery attempt, regardless of whether the original order qualified for the Free Delivery tier.

8. Order Dispatch and Consignment Tracking
Upon the secure packaging and dispatch of your order from our fulfillment facility, a shipment confirmation email or digital alert will be transmitted to your registered contact coordinates. This communication will include relevant tracking data or courier references to allow you to monitor the physical transit of your consignment.
9. Force Majeure and Severe Weather Protocols
OMY Cellar prioritizes the safety of our logistics personnel and delivery partners. In the event of extreme weather alerts issued by the Hong Kong Observatory—including but not limited to Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, Black Rainstorm Warnings, or severe flash flooding—all scheduled delivery operations will be immediately suspended. Deliveries will be systematically rescheduled and fulfilled as soon as safe environmental conditions are restored. OMY Cellar is entirely absolved of liability for delays arising from such Force Majeure events.
