Glen Ord Distillery, established in 1838 on Scotland’s Black Isle, is the only active Highland distillery on the peninsula and operates under Diageo. Distillation Process

Aged 18 years predominantly in American oak hogsheads—cask strength bottling means no dilution after maturation. The casks impart fresh vanilla, honeyed sweetness, and oak spice. Highland climate leads to gentle, even maturation  .

Once opened, will hold character for several years if stored upright, in a cool, dark place. Further aging in bottle won’t add depth but will preserve profile.
