San Giusto a Rentennano is a historic estate located in the southern part of the Chianti Classico region in Tuscany, Italy. Originally a Cistercian monastery, the property was transformed into a fortress in the Middle Ages and has been owned by the Martini di Cigala family since 1914. The estate encompasses 160 hectares, with 31 hectares dedicated to vineyards. The wine is then aged for approximately 20 months in French oak barrels ranging from 225 to 500 liters, allowing it to develop complexity and integrate its tannic structure. After bottling, the wine rests for an additional six months before release, ensuring optimal balance and maturity.

On the nose, it offers intense aromas of ripe black cherries, sweet plums, and hints of blackcurrant, complemented by notes of mocha, leather, licorice, and incense.
