Source of Ingredients (Grain, Water, Yeast)

Signet uses a blend of chocolate‑roasted barley (akin to stout brewing), estate-grown Cadboll barley, water from Tarlogie Springs, and Glenmorangie’s proprietary yeast to enhance creaminess and depth  .

Distillation Process

Distilled in Glenmorangie’s iconic 26 ft copper pot stills, the process favors lightness and aroma. Signet is non‑chill filtered, preserving natural oils and a full mouthfeel  .

Maturation & Cask Information

Crafted from vintage whiskies (some over 30 years old), Signet is matured in bespoke American white oak barrels, with finishing in select casks to enhance spice, mocha, and oak complexity  .

Storage and Aging Potential

Bottled at 46 % ABV, non‑chill filtered, Sealed bottles can be stored upright in a cool, dark place for years without flavor degradation. Bottle aging preserves current character but won’t mature further.
