The grapes for this wine are sourced from hillside vineyards in the Chianti Classico zone, between Florence and Siena. The region’s favorable climate, with warm days and cool nights, along with calcareous and well-structured soils, contribute to the wine’s complexity and balance.

Vinification & Aging Methods

Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks with a medium period of maceration. The wine is then aged for at least 2 years, including a minimum of 12 months in French oak barrels, followed by at least 6 months of bottle aging.

Tasting notes

This wine offers a rich bouquet of cherries, plums, and iris. On the palate, it presents deep cherry and leather flavors with subtle wood notes. The tannins are supple, complemented by good acidity and a lingering finish.

This wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for up to 10 years. Proper storage in a cool, dark place with a consistent temperature will help maintain its quality and allow it to develop further complexity over time.
